The Midstate Trail is a 91 mile footpath that starts from the end of the North South Trail at the Rhode Island border and ends at the beginning of the Wapack Trail at the New Hampshire border. The guide provides detailed maps, info on parking, and points of interest along the trail. It includes a short history of each of the 14 Massachusetts towns the trail passes through. The guide and the trail itself are maintained by the Midstate Trail Committee, Worcester Chapter, and Appalachian Mountain Club.
